What are wine ratings?



When wine critics taste a wine, they often assign a score as a summary of their evaluation of the wines's quality. A number of different scales are used, but the most commom is from 50 to 100, with wines receiving a 90-Point rating or above generally classified as "outstanding".



At W90+, we specialize in wines rated 90 points or better by globally recognized wines experts. We carry wines at all price levels, including more than 200 wines priced under $20 in each of all stores.



We also make it possible to taste great wines whenever you visit our stores. We always have eight highly rated wines ready for tasting any time of day. Because as good as the wine rating system is, the best way to know whether a wine is right for you is to taste it.
